Every day, countless individuals in Congo journey miles to collect water.

 

At our Wells for Hope 2025 event, participants stepped into their shoes carrying real containers of water along a 2-mile route from Shoelace Park to Bronx Forest, and discovering how together, we can change the story.

 

Along the way, they experienced:​

 

Source & Survival – Water Purification Station where they learned firsthand how clean water is created and why it matters.

 

Heartbeat Circle – Mutuashi Dance allowed them to move to the rhythms of Congolese culture in a joyful dance circle.

 

Bridges No Borders – How Congo Supports the World explored Congo’s contributions and global impact.

 

Kids Nature Zone featuring games, puzzles, and sensory play for children of all ages.

 

Cultural Tables & Vendors allowing participants to enjoy Congolese food, art, and music.
